History:

Formerly "Broadway Off Broadway" at the Univeristy of Ottawa, UOMTS has been operating since 2011.

The club's aim is to increase musical theatre interest and involvement on the uOttawa campus through productions, showcases, drop-in classes, and meetings. Our goal is to produce one mainstage show each school year, as well as several smaller, more intimate evets such as talent shows, fundraisers, and potentially a licensed studio show. 

UOMTS used to hold weekly meetings wherein a club member would apply to direct a musical number and perform and record it to be uploaded to YouTube. In the 2016-2017 school year, we hope to reinstate these meetings and hopefully see a rise in interest from members and non-members alike.
